Context
Digital transformation programme in non-life insurance, within the programme management team: digitising documents and streamlining how they flow.
My role
- Analyse existing processes and documentation practices to identify friction points and opportunities for digitalisation
- Define functional requirements for managing and circulating digital documents, working with the business teams
- Structure and prioritise functional topics and follow them end to end: analysis, IT coordination, sign-off, go-live
- Translate business needs into functional specifications the technical teams can build from
- Oversee testing, go-live and stabilisation of the solutions
- Coordinate day to day between the business, IT and programme management

Context
Migration of life insurance systems covering universal life and traditional portfolios, bringing several external back offices into the group's IT landscape.
Two of the programme's four tools went live on the strength of the business analysis I led and coordinated.
My role
- Led a team of 6 business and functional analysts: work allocation, tracking, onboarding and roll-off
- Acted as Product Owner for gap analysis: structured, prioritised and managed the backlog
- Defined the methodological framework: scope, deliverables, validation and sign-off process
- Carried out functional analysis of critical life insurance products: As-Is, gap identification, target process design
- Reviewed documentation for content and quality, and coached analysts on both technical and non-technical skills
- Reviewed test plans, coordinated test runs and supported the nearshore and offshore teams

Context
Two product initiatives run in parallel: launching a new offering for the self-employed on a packaged solution, and migrating an existing product to a new platform.
The product has been live since the project ended.
My role
- Acted as Business Analyst and Project Manager on the launch: coordinated the work and reported to the steering committee
- Analysed business needs and designed the target processes (BPMN) supporting the new product's launch
- Led a team of 3 analysts on the migration, covering underwriting, medical, pricing, product management and collections
- Coordinated analysis, configuration and validation through to go-live
- Prepared test plans, coordinated and ran the test cycles
- Managed priorities and system changes after go-live

Design and rollout of a bespoke surety bond management system across France, Italy, Spain and the Nordics.
The system is live in Italy.
My role
- Functional Lead Analyst from 2020: responsible for the design of the Bond, Policy and Risk Underwriting domains
- Translated business requirements into detailed functional designs: BPMN processes, business rules, screens, batch processing, error handling and alerts
- Contributed to the data model and to screen design (UX/UI)
- Harmonised products, processes and requirements across countries while accommodating local differences
